Kitchen Design Trends in Dubai Villas for 2026
Design directions in Dubai villa kitchens have shifted noticeably over the past two years. Here is what we are seeing on the ground.
Natural stone is everywhere. Travertine in particular has become one of the most requested materials across our kitchen projects. It works well as an island worktop, a splashback, and even as a full island base. The warm, organic quality of travertine sits well against the neutral palettes that are popular in Dubai villas right now. You can see a strong example of this in our Shoreline, Palm Jumeirah project.
Curved islands are replacing straight ones. The sharp-cornered kitchen island has given way to softer, curved forms. Curved islands in stone or timber feel more considered and more comfortable in a living space.
Warm timber cabinetry is back. For several years, ultra-white and lacquered grey kitchens dominated the market. The shift now is toward warm timber veneer cabinetry, either as a full kitchen finish or in combination with white or neutral lower units. Our Wildflower, Jumeirah Golf Estates project shows this combination working well.
